1 May 2007 More important that the type of grease in the (manual locking) hubs is the amount. I use no more than a light film of whatever I use in the wheel bearings on mine, usually a synthetic, graphite locaded wheel bearing grease. Too much grease and you can cause a suction to be created as the hub is locked

I know many people just used wheel bearing grease. I did that last year and the hubs were much harder to turn on and off. I have a factory Tracker manual and it states to use the lubricant GM P/N 1052750. I am totally unable to find out what that lubricant is. So what is the correct lubricant to use besides
