31 Mar 2007 Hi all, I'm just wondering if I could get some advice with a 4ac to 4age conversion. Firstly I have a AE86 Sprinter, stock with a 4ac in it. I have a feeling its going to die on me soon and would like a basic 4age setup, nothing fancy just a cheap 86kw 16V. Ive seen some complete engine packages around for

however, if you know about wiring stuff up you could deff. just use the dash/engine harness, then tap the sr5 harness into the ecu (although i hear that unless you like blowing fueses, DON'T hook up the ebrake light). you will need to source a gts gastank, lines and fuel pump, and run a power wire to either

I heard that you can just drop in a 16v into a sr5 with just 4age engine, harnesess, ecu, feul pump and heat wrapping the clutch line. And also, would it be possible to swap in a 20v doing this same thing? or is that pushing it any help would be awesome, sorry again for questions that are probably way over
2 Nov 2005 I still have some things to do like the light wiring wich is not the same on GTS and SR5 dash harness but other than that you're all done. I did the swap with a friend and neither of us had done a complete engine swap before or had seen a 4AGE in action. so basicly, the 16V swap is not that hard, for the 20V
