I purchased a Wii U Pro Controller yesterday and cannot get it to sync. My gamepad I pressed the sync button on the console first and then per the instructions, pressed it on the controller. The controller maybe it is synced but you cant use it on the wiiu start up screenmaybe once you start a game it will become active?
i had quite an Annoying Problem with my Afterglow Controller, everytime someone pushed a button, the WiiU powered off. But after 1 of my pro controllers wont even blink not charging nor syncing my other 1 does charge and blinks yet dosent sync but my wii u remote still works i wonder why? 12/28/2016

What to Do: Ensure that the Wii U console is turned on. Make sure that the USB connector plug is facing in the correct direction before inserting it into the USB port. Connect the Wii U Pro Controller USB cable (model WUP-018) to both the controller and the Wii U console.
My controller works, but why don't the LED's turn on when I connect my controller? Product Overview & Manual · How do I sync my controller to my Wii U? I don't want to use the USB charging cable for the controller. Is there another solution to charge the controller?
