23 Jun 2010 I have a 1995 S-10 four wheel drive blazer and i want to place a 06 5.3 v-8 with the engine swap and use the transmission and transfer case that is in the 06 chevrolet truck. Is this possible , has any one done this swap. Mail me and let me know. thank you Ben Smith. Reply

Jags that run don't (as of last time I checked) offer a book for the newer generation of s10's I wish they did. does anybody know of a site that starts and finishes a 94+ swap step by step with all .. You said it has a 4.3L so, you can swap for a TBI V8 and use the same wiring harness, computer, trans, and rad.
Once the 2.8L mounts are installed, the conversion mounts that we manufacture will then position the V8 engine. 4.3 replacements: For vehicles that were transmission casing to a V8 700R casing. (Note: S10/S15 equipped with a 700R and a 4.3 V6 have the 90 degree bolt pattern which will not need to be changed.).
