new avast icon in system tray??? « on: December 05, 2016, 07:12:48 PM ». Hello. I got this new icon in my tray. It says that it belongs to Avast antivirus. I have a free version. When I hover over it with mouse pointer, no information is shown. I can't either dobule or right-click it. Help please. Thank you. Pictures are in the link. Does anyone have any suggestions? My startup says that AvLaunch component (2) from Avast launches. That includes the AvLaunch component and Avast Antivirus. Is there something missing from my registry that is causing it not to load the tray icon? I know I have had a few other registry issues since.
