2 Aug 2012 Sadly, the Cory company went defunct decades ago. (though Silex made these as well) The reason was two fold First there was the rise of the Auto Drip coffee maker. Let's face it, automatic brewing machines are a lot easier to use than a manual stove top coffee maker. I don't know about you, but

24 Oct 2011 Back before automatic drip dominated the coffee scene, the most common brewer in kitchens, diners and doughnut wagons was the vacuum percolator. While the vacuum I simply use it as a great opportunity to clean the upper bowl while waiting for my cup to come to a reasonable drinking temperature.
