Figured it out. FWI for future people with same question. Just yellow lock it, then infuse it with the monster with the cactuar. What i did was infuse a lvl 40 Gancanagh Ace with my lvl 14 Apotamkin, which creates Item Collector (YL). The yellow lock gives it a higher rank so when I infuse with cactuar, it gets rid of auto-veil

I got a monster Spiranthes, that has a Item collector passive ability, which increases the drop rate of rare items. So should you switch this guy in everytime you are about to do the killing blow on a mob? WoW: Talho #11 top warrior dps on 25 Saurfang and Festergut *WorldWide* and #1 world BPC, as of 4/7/
Accepted Answer. The Piggyback guide recommends using Apotamkin Lv14. Also, Gancanagh Ace, Triffid and Cactrot learn transferable Item Collector, but the levels are not listed in the guide.

So.. i put him in the Paradigm Pack, you know the area were you put your three favorite monsters. My question is do i have too use the monster too get the passive bonus? His passive abilities increase odds of obtaining rare items after battle. He's a healer though so i have no use for him on easy fights.
So, my Silver Chocobo already had Item Scavenger II, and I went ahead and infusion him with the Item CollectorBut Currently Playing: Final Fantasy XIII-2 I'm just asking if these two passive abilities are ok to be on the same monster and they both stay effective as long as you end the battle with that
