A once-in-a-generation young karate fighter named Jack joins the Wasabi warriors.
Rudy is a down-on-his-luck martial arts teacher who is only in teaching of his students, Milton, Jerry, and Eddie. Things begin to turn around for him when he meets Jack, a young, but very good martial artist, who has a connection with famous martial arts movie star, Bobby Wasabi. Jack agrees to help win back the dojo in a tournament against a rival dojo, the Black Dragons. While on many crazy adventures, Jack and the gang stick together with the Bobby Wasabi code, while working with former Black Dragon trainee, Kim
When I saw that Disney was producing a "Karate" show, I didn't expect much. After watching several episodes, I discovered it was good program. The young cast meshed well, the stunts were well executed, the stories were palatable.
Over the years I watched the cast grow up, while the stories shrank. The kids have done their best, Jack is strong and powerful, but remains humble, Jerry is hilarious, I missed Kim when she left, she added balance to the team. In what seemed like its final year, the character Milton seemed to have pages of dialogue and talked endlessly. The innocence of the early years was gone.
But even worse, the show just seemed to fade out. You'd think that Disney would give a program that worked hard for four years to give the channel its best, would get a good send off. Disney XD gave Zeke and Luther a proper good-bye and final episodes; Kickin' it certainly deserved it. There were many great episodes, but if I had to select just one, I think it would be when Jack fell asleep in Rudy's office and he had a dream that they were all in a 70s detective episode. It was extremely well done.
Kickin' it episodes will replay for years. I'm sure kids, not even born, will enjoy the adventures of Jack,Jerry, Kim and Milton as Wasabi Warriors.
my now 9 year old daughter & I have been watching since the show started & love the show! Just read Olivia is leaving- soooo sad! Love that she & Jack finally got together! Added more to show! the kids that are writing reviews don't really seem to be the target audience- I know A lot of preteens that love the show! it's too bad that the show is ending or changing so much! That will surely make kids stop watching! & did they say boy meets world for Olivia? If that's what Im thinking , are they REALLY remaking that- as an adult , much rather watch Kickin It with my daughter! Funny & plot line & LOVE the characters- yes her & I both! Sorry to see it change or go!

http://www.ActorsResourceGuides.com No. Seaford is a fictional city. Because it is located on the Coast of California, it is actually a parody of West Hollywood, California (where Kickin' It is filmed at Hollywood Center Studios, at 1040 N. Las Palmas Ave, in Hollywood, Los Angeles area, California.) Alex Christian Jones (who plays Eddie Jones) did not reprise his role as Eddie in Season 3 or 4. In the last episode, Oh Christmas Nuts, it is implied that he quit the dojo or he got kicked off the dojo by Rudy because he had low karate ratings and wasn't as flexible and ultimately left. Alex actually left because he was busy studying for high school and wanted to focus more on his personal and family life. Alex wanted to live with take care of his grandparents back at Birmingham, Alabama (where he is from). He was NOT kicked off the show!! Prior to his departure, he thanked the cast and crew for having such a wonderful time at Kickin' It. Since his departure, the script was then rewritten for Season 3 to remove Eddie's character from the story. No replacements were selected to replace him. The main reason why they don't mention his disappearance and pretend he never existed (i.e. "Too bad Eddie moved out" or "I wish Eddie would come back to the dojo" the fact that they just NEVER mention him, remains unknown.
Olivia Holt left the show to star in another sitcom called "I Didn't Do It". (she wanted to focus on other shows and move on). The story was rewritten again and the theme song as also changed. It has been confirmed by Olivia Holt that Kim will not be returning for the beginning of Season 4, due to the filming of her new show, I Didn't Do It, but she made a guest appearance in Seaford Hustle and the series finale: The Grandmaster. I think they must've thought Rudy was leaving town for a few years. Either that or they were originally ending the series. It depends. If you watch the action scenes in slow motion, you can often tell if it's the actor or a stunt double. Leo Howard seems to do a lot of his own fight scenes and acrobatics while many of the fights and flips by other characters are done by doubles; although occasionally Olivia Holt will perform a simple flip or fight. No, it has not been explained where Eddie went; the characters don't even mention him.
Just kidding. Alex Jones said that he became busy overtime with his family life such as taking care of his grandparents and his school studies that unfortunately, he could not do both so he chose to leave the show. Following this, the screenplay was rewritten to remove Eddie's character from the story. The new plot had it that Eddie left the dojo, moved out of Seaford and moved back to England where he is from to take care of his ill grandparents. If you noticed, Kim was not sitting with the Black Dragons, so it's safe to assume that she didn't approve of their bullying tactics. She also flashed Jack a smile during the fight, as if to say "Keep going. You're doing great" so it's pretty obvious she had no interest in getting involved. Besides, it's none of her business and it's also implied that she has a crush on Jack. There are plenty of seeds all over his chest. a5c7b9f00b
