Can someone give me the cookbook version to engaging the FMS setting up and engaging via the Auto Pilot? I can lload the flight plan into the FMS.. I read the X-Plane FMS manual, it mentioned LNAV and VNAV, and also that procedures to engage the FMS can vary by aircraft. I looked at the FlyJSim
Headiing towards the weekend, Im itching to get a new plane for X-plane X. Anyone have the Dash 8? And read the manual - if you use a throttle quad, the lower 1/4 of it is reverse - just so you don't accidently go into reverse when throttling back on descent. . I had a look at the FlyJSim Dash 8 here.
I love my FlyJSim Dash 8 but one thing I still haven't figured out is how to restrict my speed when descending. I'll get an when you select altitude (ALT SEL), accelerate/decelerate to target speed, press IAS hold button, then you may need to adjust throttles, since Q400 does not have autothrottle. Reduce

hope that was enough info + options of programs i know about to help also X-FMC and UFMC can be updatet to latest navigraph aircad but it is a tricky way for X-plane in my eys but it should stand in the manual how to do for those programs i don?t know about the ipad or iphone Best regards L.N.
