Download the custom launcher or the new patch with or without the HD textures: www.wow-mania.com/downloads. I may have forgot to say that i am playing on a Macbook 13'' 2010, which means that i can not open .exe files. But you're still able to download the patches manually since WoW uses
So for a number of reasons I can't use the launcher to patch WoW automatically. I remember manually patching WoW a few times years back, but it's pretty different now. There is no updater exe to run any more, for example. Could someone who knows how to manually patch 5.x.x explain to me exactly

Wow automatically updates itself.But I imagine if you already have the patchif you just put it in the Updates folder where all the other patch MPQ files are it will start installing it when you start the game. Jan 10, 2017 For one reason or another, my app quit working months ago and anything short of a complete PC reset has not worked in restoring it. I've had to play my game through the actual WoW64.exe file. Now my game is obviously incompatible, so I am hoping I can get the patch and install it manually. Thanks!
