I want to do an automatic to manual conversion on my 1999 Honda civic ex coupe, but I am not sure of all the parts needed. shifter, linkage,tranny lines, master cylinder, slave cylinderand i think a few others i got a tranny for 130 plus shipping since you in ga its a 99-00 d16y8 tranny just the tranny though.
19 Dec 2003 it will work, in fact a friend of mine did a 5 speed swap and is still running an auto ecu if you'rerunning a complete 5 speed setup (a d16y8 that started as a 5 speed) you will have idling issues, due to the fact that Damn! It will work, but it won't run well. Just get a manual ECU and do it the right way. Quote:
