Assassin Bug - Zelus luridus. Roanoke, Virginia, USA May 31, 2004. This is a dead bug, since my wife put it in the sun. When it was alive, it was mostly green with a sort of long chevron shaped mark (with the apex toward the head) on it's back (wings). It's about 5/8" long not including the front legs. I found it in the kitchen
