30 Jan 2014 I have a Bulgarian SLR95 AK47 and have bought a Midwest Industries Universal handguard. I have lost the disassembly instructions for the rifle. Would someone direct me to instructions on how to remove the factory handguard. Thank You Norman

I bought a Midwest Industries SS One piece free float carbine length hand guard. #MI - SS7. The instructions don't say anything about grease, but it is getting Aeroshell 33ms. They also don't mention torquing the barrel nut. Just want you to tighten it enough to align the gas block. Then they supply blue

A: Mid-length and rifle length drop in hand guards are designed to work with triangle hand guard caps. Make sure your mid-length/rifle length upper has a triangle hand guard cap to allow the hand guard to be installed. A carbine uses a round hand guard cap. 25 May 2013 Recently, we were able to sample some Midwest Industries Gen2 SS Series Rails. These are one piece free float handguards. They have a very slim profile, and remind me somewhat of the Samson Evolution Rail, but slimmer. Now I'll admit, I've never been impressed with Midwest Industries.
