26 Dec 2014 Well theirs four different growth rates (used to describe the nature in the way the weapon upgrades), in order from least to greatest, late bloomer, best in class of that growth rate and second, you cant level down a growth rate class, so don't worry about making weapon “A" worse when weapon modifying.
You then have to accept your selection (and, if you want, add more mods to free sockets) and leave the loadout screen. Don't forget to equip the weapon you've just modified!
