Jul 24, 2008 i have a problem with opteron 180, i tried overclock, 220*12 2640mhz, i have a 4gb ddr400 ram, i am using this 400mhz for ram, when i use like that, its appear blue screen, how can i find stable value? i want to use 2,8ghz. The post I quoted from you indicates a potential speed of 2.7GHz at those settings.

I have great cooling right now (good airflow, Arctic 5 Thermal Paste, ect.) and I was wondering what's the farthest but safe OC I can pull? I'm at 2.8 and all Is well but I was thinking I could go further. Would I have to increase voltage to do so? How would I know if I should or shouldn't increase the voltage?
Mar 11, 2007 If you take the Opteron 170/175/180/185 will they all overclock roughly the same percentage (such as 35% gain seen on all, air cooled) or will the 175 overclock (say 40%) and the 185 only overclock (say 15%) I will be . what voltage did you run to do this? was it prime-stable? what were your temps?
Despite most people seeming to be able to pull off a stable overclock with Opteron 160s on AIR w/ my clocks, I can't seem to do it. I was thinking it was a voltage issue. I'm assuming this I searched the "AMD OC" thread and didn't see anyone make attempts w/ Opteron's.

Feb 22, 2008 I have an Opteron 180 overclocked to 2780. Load temps get as high as 55C, Idle as low as 26c. Am I safe? Anyway to get to 3ghz?
