Reasons I as is that it is becoming ever more apparent that DC will not produce a truck above the 3500 level in 4X4. With this in mind it looks more likely that I will have to look at a F550 PS 6-speed next
I too had to order my truck to get the manual transmission. The dealer thought I was totally nuts even wanting a diesel much less a 6speed one at that. I was able to test drive a work truck with the 6 speed in it and it drove and shifted beautifully, I was sold on wanting a manual!!! Mine shifts very easy.
