Soooo, a good place to start would be either a one-shot color camera (Meade DSI, DSI II, or Orion StarShoot) or get a wedge and a DSI Pro or Pro II. To answer your original question; the DSI Pro is a fantastic camera for the bucks and the Pro II is a larger, slightly improved version of the Pro so I'd assume it. The DSI II now eliminates the dreaded amp glow by turning off the amp during capture. Meade also added a sensor to the CCD chip to monitor the chip's temperature.
