~Scars~

For a moment I just want to rewind everything.
Now that I'm standing here I realized what I had.
Looking back, never opened my eyes in time.
It was right there, what I was looking for.

Disturbed, and scarred from so many angles.
It made me a stronger person, made me know.
But now when I should have been that person.
I only kept showing you the burning scars of mine.

I wish, I could have done it right form the start.
Being a dreamer, a lover and the person for you.
Now as my body is burning, and my eyes open.
I can only see you in the distance, and it's hard.

I'll try, I'll fight, more than ever before, it's just..
This empty room, it made me understand completely.
How much I lost, and how much I really wanted to be.
To try one last time, to be whole again. Smiling.

There's no longer a hand in mine.
There's no longer someone to hold.
There's no longer something to share.

But even if these burns never go away,
I'll become a better person, Be me again.
And one day, I'll stand in front of you.
Maybe all is already lost, but I'll try anyway.

It's what my heart tells me to do.
Because you deserve the best.
