Oct 4, 2006 My Haynes manual says on 94-95 use 10w30 or 10w40 and on 96-97 use Honda Genuine Manual Transmission Fluid (MTF). .. no dont use synchromesh on a 90 93 accord you think it more expensive so its means better not true i filled mine with mesh and you could hear the gears in the transmission
Dec 23, 2009 Hello, for an automatic you can use Honda ATF-Z1 or Dexron III transmission fluid. For a manual transmission you'd want to used 10w30 or 10w40, preferably synthetic motor oil.
