If you go to the Sent Items folder, and open the PDF attachments from the emails, do they show up fine? Try sending the PDF attachments to yourself, and check if the document shows up fine. You may open Outlook in safe mode, then send the PDF attachments and check if it shows up fine for the clients.
25 Jun 2014 I am having an issue where some of the attachments and even the body of the email is blank in outlook. an Excel spread sheet, you get a blank spread sheet, if it was a PDF, you get a corrupted pdf message, if it was a vCard, you get a blank vCard, if it was a word document, you get a blank document.

We have a script which sends emails with an attached PDF file to about 500 individuals quarterly. Each person receives a individual email and individual PDF document attached. However, a number of the PDF files (which are fine at our end) are blank when opened by the recipient.
I fixed the problem per www.simpleinvoices.org/forum/discussion/comment/7239/#Comment_7239, I had to also modify public_html/modules/invoices/email.php with the exact same changes as made above. Once I did that my attachments started working correctly with the correct naming convention (date.pdf).
