1 Sep 2003 LaTeX Error: Cannot determine size of graphic in my.fabolous.figure.eps.gz (no BoundingBox). The maketex command is really useful for automatically extracting the bounding box from several eps files at once and the compressing them. Actually latex is pdflatex in DVI mode in modern distributions, but it can read the sizes only in PDF mode for some reason. You are however able to state the natural size of the images
Ошибка ! LaTeX Error: Cannot determine size of graphic in 01. (no BoundingBox). Если латех ищет "BoundingBox", то по-любому считает ваш файл PS/EPS-ом. А так как вы даёте ему вовсе не PS/EPS, то он и ругается. Package pdftex.def Error: PDF mode expected, but DVI mode detected!
When you are using LaTeX, that is in the commandline latex myfile. you only can use PostScript-File with includegraphics . PostScript-files usually end in .ps or .eps . Using .pdf or .png will give the error. In your case, use the following commandline in your shell pdflatex myfile. In that case, you will be able to use
