28 Feb 2007 Unlike InDesign, in Illustrator, all Guides are locked. What if I have to select and move a Guide? How can I Unlock it? The key to unlocking Guides is hidden under the View menu > Guides > Unlock Guides. After the Guide is Unlocked, it can be selected and moved like any other Illustrator object.

15 Feb 2017 Move, delete, or release guides. If guides are locked, select View > Guides > Lock Guides. Do any of the following: To move the guide, drag it or copy it. To delete the guide, press the backspace key (Windows) or the Delete key (Mac OS), or choose Edit > Cut or Edit > Clear.

Hi guys! Going crazy here. When creating stuff I always have a separate layer for guides. I keep trying to select specific guides and they blink and.
