I have always loved bards and am currently level 6. How do groups feel about bards with the 40% xp penalty? I'm duoing with a cleric to level up
Since bandoliers and twists were implemented later in the game, they are not considered "classic" and not in Project 1999. We don't get these fancy things and have to deal with what we got. 13 Jun 2017 Twisting. This is the pride and bane of the bards. It separates the men from the boys. All the songs on p99 have a 3 second casting time. The great majority of the songs last for three 6-seconds ticks, so depending on the server tick, a normal song will last anywhere between 12-18 seconds.

The meditate skill for the bard has the sole purpose of allowing spells to be scribed into the spell book and memorised into song slots in a timely fashion. It does not increase bard mana regeneration.
