Alright I've seen loads of people using the 5 or 6 inch net pots for their DWC buckets. Why would you opt for the larger ones over say a 3" net pot?

I just ordered 2" rock wool cubes thinking it would fit a 2" net pot which turns out i was terribly wrong. Is there a sizing chart to find out
I've been doing a fair amount of reading, and most folks say between 2 - 3 inches of net pot should be more than enough for tomato/large ball plants, so I'm thinking it's *way* more than enough for something like lettuce, or basil. In my NFT system I've used 4" PVC, and now I'm about to start building out the
18 Mar 2010 I am going putting together an Aero/NFT system. The net pots will go into a 5x5 vinyl post. I plan on using net pots with neoprene to hold the plants. Do you recommend 3" or 3.75"? The smaller ones will make it easier next year to start plants in. The larger should help with bracing and gr
28 Jan 2013 Is there a standardized chart showing which Net Pot Sizes to use for each type plant/vegetables?
The optimal pot size one chooses to use should be correlated to the size of the plant one intends to grow. I think it also depends on the system one is growing in. DWC is less prone to 'pot size issues' compared to say ebb & flow systems where the pot basically houses the entire root ball. Homebrewer is
18 Aug 2011 Will the size of the net pot determine the size of the plant in any way? Or is the size of the net pot determined by how large you will be growing the plant (like just providing more support for larger plants). I'm making a bubbleponics system with an 18 gallon tote (probably 12 - 14 gallons of water+nutrients),
8 May 2014 The rafts will be 4' x 4' and I had originally thought of using 2" net pots for growing everything from lettuce to pepper plants. I was looking at Dana Ritschel's setup in the Photo Section and he looks like he's using 3" net pots. I went to one of the local hydroponic stores to buy one of each size just to compare,
Excellent quality net pots are thicker and more heavy-duty than most on the market. Smaller mesh allows the grower to use virtually all types of grow media. This pot measures 2-1/4" in diameter at the lip, 2" at the widest point below the lip and 1-7/16" More Details. Item Number: 135128. In Stock. $15.00 pack of 100
