P10H: Archylte Steppes AF??? (Silver Chocobo). OK! Now that we have our Silver Chocobo we need to obtain the necessary stuff to level it -- and that stuff consists of the following items: -- 25 Potent Crystals (Microchu -- Rainy) -- 50 Potent Essences (Catcherpiller / Hedge Frog / Mud Frog / Swampmonk -- Rainy)
30 Jan 2013 Side Quests/The Archylte Steppe - Final Fantasy XIII-2: Weather Control: UP/UP = Cloudy DOWN/UP = Stormy UP/DOWN = Rainy DOWN/DOWN = Sunny Hint: Locate Once you accept the side quest from Tipur. change the weather to stormy, then hire a Chocobo and head to the marker on the map.
9 Feb 2012 You need to defeat 3 gigantuar first before you can use wild fragment on the gate that leads to Bresha Ruins 300 AF. The location of gigantuar is shown by “GC' on my map above. Archylte Steppe (??? AF). This is one of the largest areas in Final Fantasy XIII-2. Collecting fragments in this time period depends on seeking out . This will unlock Chocobos in this area, as well as the Ochu Fragment quest. Hop on a Chocobo and head the far south of the map.
Behind this stone is a concealed red Cactuar stone, uncover it with Moogle Hunt, then examine it for AF??? ARCHYLTE STEPPE FRAGMENT - Azure Crystal (05/12) + 300CP ! /assets/guides/6/11007-1415145600.png. Gigantuar Stone Number 1 (left). Gigantuar Stone Number 2 (right). Next, go southwest from the Nomad
(cant upgrade gold choco let alone upgrade catalogs after winning 2 in a race). From splits guide once you get 8 frags + chocobo. Nomad chief offers a quest to kill Ochu. Make rainy weather and depart for blue "!" to face off VS Ochu. After planting it you get AF??? ARCHYLTE STEPPE FRAGMENT (10/12). Leave for HC
Though the Archylte Steppe appeared in Final Fantasy XIII, none of the area is reused for Final Fantasy XIII-2, and it is thus effectively a different area. See also: See also: Fragment/Academic Reward There are several notable "farming" locations for the components needed to level up the Paradigm Pack monsters.
I've read that once you defeated 3 gigantuars and activating all waystones then a person in the camp will give you access to chocobo and quests. I have done all that but none of the citizens gave me a quest or let me ride a chocobo. The seal on the gate have been released also. Please help?
