I could feel the horror racing inside my stomach
I could feel the pain shuttering inside my veins
I could sense the numbness taking over my body
And I welcomed it
I would welcome anything just to get away from what was happening right now
And so suddenly I was under water
But I could still breath
Everything was pitch black
But I could still hear the voices from the surface
I fought to come up
But I could not move
This was not how I had imagined it
It was frightening me
I was trapped
I had become a prisoner in my own mind
