Interns
Today was sunny but chilly, but Line and me were in a good mood. Because later that day we went to the silk market!
The Beijing metro. Surprisingly clean and efficient, but full of beggars tho. 2 kuai for a one-way trip, including as many transfers as you want.
The Silk market. Where you can find the finest fake merchandise for ridiculously high prices and get assaulted by salespeople if you even stop in front of their booth. Get ripped off or get a bargain

Today we chilled at subway - enjoying their free wireless internet ^^

Living area. Simone & Amelias room just to the left, mine & Lines room to the right. (Kitchen next to our room)
Kitchen. Stove with a kettle, but no oven. It's spartan to say the least..
Tonight - the food market! All the delicious disgusting things you can eat for 10-30 kuai a piece.

...it wasn't that good. I think it was crickets. They were disgusting. Really gritty.
I guess there was a reason why everyone always said the swedes were crazy... :P
More delicious... crickets? I don't really know :P Photographer - Carl
