Dougie : What is your favourite Blink lyric of all the time ?
Tom : I don't know (pauses). Let me think... on our record, it's really simple but it says "Are you afraid of being alone, coz I am, I'm lost without you". I think it's really romantic and kind of emotional - i like it. It's cool when you're saying something really simple but you say it in such a way that makes it powerful.
Dougie : How does the songwritting in Blink come about ?
Tom : Very rarely we write stuff all together but it happens every once in a while. Usually I'll write a song or Mark'll write a song and we'll make it all work together. Everyone does their own parts though, like no one tells Travis what to play on drums or no one tells Mark to play on bass. But we'll push each other in certain directions to make the song work the way we want it to.
