Your picture on my cell phone screen
is my perfect night lamp
I'm shivering in this bed
forgetting everything that isn't cold and damp
How you became my everything
and even razors can't numb this pain
No pills can help me sleep
and in this mess only my tears remain
Music that burns in my heart
and makes me lose control
I'd do anything for your love
I’d even give you my soul
And I can't understand why
I do things that will only hurt me more
You haunt me in my dreams at night
inside me an endless raging war
I thought it would calm me down
seeing you for the first time
but now you won't leave my mind
these feelings are beyond reason and rhyme
I tried to get over and forget about you
knowing that I never had a chance
but I just couldn't let go
without one last dance
