Oki, ska börja posta Wyatt's äventyr är XD.....jag postar om allt från början så jag får det kapitelvis och kan sätta det i ett album. Det här är bara första draftet så den kommer antagligen kanske se annorlunda ut nästa år då jag kommer försöka publicera det XD;;; (har som redan lagt till några meningar and stuff i det jag redan har postat XD;;
If he had landed on his butt it would’ve been slightly more okay, but of course he didn’t. He landed on his face, right down in the pigsty. Not that pigs were dirty or anything like that. He knew they weren’t, since he was the one taking care of them several times a day. Usually he really didn’t even mind the mud. It was just that right in this instant it was very embarrassing.
Wyatt sat up and glared through his muddy face at his siblings who were laughing and pointing at him. Especially his older brother. Gus always picked on him. Sometimes Wyatt wished that the earth would just reach up and swallow his brother so he would leave him alone. Then he felt bad for feeling like that and wished the earth would swallow him instead. That’s usually when he realized that he was just being stupid. Very stupid. Just as stupid as Gus kept telling him that he was.
Standing up Wyatt tried to wipe himself off just to notice that he was just making himself more dirty. Really dirty, he was almost turning darker than his eyes, darker than black. The dirt on his pants were even making sounds. It was buzzing. Blinking he stared as the dirty blackness removed itself from his pants and flew over to his brother, the dirt bees buzzing as they attacked his big brother.
Sitting up in bed Wyatt panted. He had only been dreaming. Only dreaming. Wiping sweat and long rust red hair from his forehead he shivered. That had been a very strange dream. He usually didn’t have dreams. Not since he had been a little boy. Well, he was 14 now so he was practically a man. Then again that hadn’t really been a dream. Only the last part of it. The first part had happened yesterday.
Moving his thin worn blanket Wyatt slipped out of the bed he was sharing with his brothers. He needed to drink some water because his tongue was as dry as a dried out washing sponge. His throat hurt a bit. Coughing he pulled on a sweater and stumbled out to the backyard.
It was still dark, too early for the sun to leave his bed, get up, put his shoes on and go to work. Wyatt didn’t mind though, he could walk straight to the well with his eyes closed. Not bothering with a mug he drank directly from the bucket. Wiping his mouth on the back of his hand and rested on the well for a little bit before he headed indoors again.
The first thing he noticed when he opened the door was the smell. Wyatt closed the door, and sat down leaning against the house wall. Breathing the cold and crisp, but fresh, air. Gus was sitting in their bed, being very sick.
Gross, but getting to work early was the only thing he could do about it since his older brother would be too sick to do his own chores Wyatt and his other brothers would have to share them anyway. Better get his own done with earlier then.
Standing up he almost got the door in his face. He pressed himself against the wall and then looked around it. "Oh, there you are. You, Josh and Billy will have to take the crops to the town market. Your father and Gus are ill."
Wyatt stared at his mother for a moment. Very confused. He had never been outside the farm before. How would he even find the market? "But..." His mother shook her head and headed towards the well. "...but how will I find the market?"
She sighed and glanced at her youngest son. "Josh and Billy know the way there. Do your chores and get ready. You’ll leave just after dawn."
Lots of feels were twisting around in his tummy, he was finally going to be able to visit the town market. He picked up part of his way too long braid from the ground and played with the end nervously. They only visited the markets 4 times a year and his siblings just kept talking about them when they returned. Wyatt had always been too young to go, but not this time. This time he would be the one who would tell everyone everything about it when he came home.
