Can parents today just stop telling their kids that if someone is mean to them it means that they like them or have a crush on them? Because that's bullshit.
If you tell your little daughter or son or kid things like that they might actually believe it their whole life.
So,tell me this,if your kid is in a relationship were the person they're in love with beats them and abuses them,it's just because they love them? If someone harasses your child in school,it's just because they have a crush on them? No.
A relationship were one beats another is a unhealthy relationship that needs to end before it gets worse.
It's unacceptable to do that. To tell your daughter that the boy that keeps bullying her in school does it because he likes her.
Love does not equal pain. It shouldn't hurt being in a relationship. Nobody deserves being in a abusive relationship.
So,just tell your kids that if a person loves them, they'd want to protect them, not hurt them. I mean, sure, sometimes words can hurt, and every relationship is flawed and people fight even though they love each other, but there is a line between what's acceptable and what's not.
