Part 1: The Basics
1. What is your full name?
Yoku. The rest is really none of your business.
2. Where and when were you born?
Amegakure, thirty years ago or something.. don't really know.
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My parents where Yokuhashi Hadane and Yokuhashi Vanako. My father, Hadane, was an artist, made paintings and stuff - always talking shit about how I was so 'frail' and 'shouldn't be out in the sun too long'. Bullshit.
My mother, though, was kick-ass. She taught me how to use the sword and always shoved me into stuff to see if I could avoid her attacks. Wasn't home much, though - busy with other men, other kids and other missions. Cool chick.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I reckon I have a freaking lot of them, since mum was kind of a... liberated woman. But, I haven't met a single one of them - how the fuck should I know?
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I don't live anywhere - at the road, if you want to be romantic. My traveling partner is Kino. He's a abnoxious brat, but we get along; something about we sharing the same hobby, hm?~
6. What is your occupation?
Oh, 'wanted massmurderer and s-criminal' perhaps?
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Tall. People always tell me that, even Kino - 'you ARE tall! And handsome~'. He talks his head of sometimes, that smoothtalker.
Oh, and I'm an albino, which means I don't have any colourpigments - my sking being pale and my hair white and stuff like that. My eyes are read, though - as for why, I don't really know. Something about the lenses.
I'm strong, pretty muscular, but not in the crazy body-builder way. You just get stiff from being like that; no, viry rather. And I have big hands. And long hair.
Oh, don't give me that look - I just don't care to cut it, that's all. I mean, seriously, who the fuck cares?
Ah, and my face. Sharp jaw, straight nose, angular and with slanted, narrow eyes. How I know this, you ask? Because Kino has a tendency to fuss over it from time to time. And then I haven't even mentioned my so-called 'long, white eyeslashes' and 'silky, soft hair~'. Exactly. You don't even want to know.
Regarding my clothes, I prefer to wear white stuff, because honestly - everything else just makes me look even more pale. Shirts or kimonos are kind of irritating, though, so I mostly just wear a pair of pants, sandals and some kind of cloak over it all in case the weather decides to be an ass.
That's about it.
8. To which social class do you belong?
'The lowest of the low', if you trust that nobleman who's arm I broke.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Since I don't have any colour which can protect my skin, or something like that, by body is sensitiv to sunlight. Other that that, I'm actually unusually healthy for an albino - or for any kind of human being, if you want to be petty.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
None; I can use them both. What's the meaning of only training one hand when this can be used as an opening for your enemy? Stupid.
11. What does your voice sound like?
Since my time in prison, it became somewhat... hoarse. Otherwise I have a rather dark voice; even when I don't try, people gets intimidated by hit. Entertaining, isn't it?
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
Well, since my only company for about three years was a loudmouthed flowerlover who couldn't stop talking unless you said his name clearly, I begin most senctences with 'Kino'. It tends to catch his attention.
13. What do you have in your pockets?
Money, and nothing else. Why carry around anything unnecessary?
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I usually cut people down before letting them finish talking. Does that count as an characteristic?
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
Boring. I was often left to myself and the other kids didn't want to play with 'the ghost' - soo, I had a lot of free time and nothing to spend it on. Usually I just trained with my sword in order to impress my mother when she get back.
Weren't I the cutest little thing?
16. What is your earliest memory?
If you have to know, it's the back of father sitting by his
17. How much schooling have you had?
The things my mum thaught me, of course, and some basic training at the ninja-academy. Otherwise, I've simply things by myself.
18. Did you enjoy school?
Yes and no. I liked to train my skills, but my classmates often bothered me. I wasn't used to that many people, and prefered being alone, actually... ironic, isn't it?
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
Oh, that's very easy - by killing people. You don't learn shit from hitting a trainingdoll or throwing shurikens at a log; you have to actually do it to make your body understand and memorize stuff.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
My mother, as well as my sensei; he was a good man, and he never lied to us, his three student. He never tried to comfort us with pretty words such as 'it's going to be alright' or 'you can do it if you just try hard enough'. He just said as it was, plain and clear, and then wished us good luck.
I was kind of upset when he died. Probably the first time I went berserk, if I remeber correctly.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
My family was big, a whole clan, and I can't say I got along well or bad with them. They were just there, a part of my life; something I could return to. Simple as that.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a shinobi, since that was what was expected of me.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
Training. I know, know - awfully inspiring and incredibly original, isn't it? Well, it was. Now bugger off.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
Lone wolf; that's how my teachers described me, anyway. Sounds epic, doesn't it? Actually, I just didn't bother with people.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
Didn't really have any friends, yet no enemies either. Most folks just stayed out of my way - except for my team-mates. I got to know them, kind of, but then they died so let's just skip that old, old story, shall we?
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
Ah, that. I think her name was Maiko... yeah, certain girls was attracted to me. And when you're fourteen, you don't care who it is; to make out is always nice.
...
Well, I guess it's still nice.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
Yuri? Or that persistent guy, Hiro. I don't really remember; I didn't consider it as anything important. *shrugs*
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
So you want to know how a somewhat freaky yet still rather harmless outcast became a slaughtering machine?
Yet again, an easy question!
Another clan wiped out my clan. One could say that changed my views on life a little.
Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
See above, my oh so curious friend, or do I have to spell it out to you?
30. Who has had the most influence on you?
Mother, daughter and enemy-clan. Something you didn't know?
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Killing off the bastards who raped my mother.
32. What is your greatest regret?
...leaving my family in order to do so.
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
Define evil.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
Such a silly statement. Instead ask yourself; do you have any NONE-criminal record of any kind?
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
When I was about to die for the first time, of course. It's a pretty strong emotion the first time - but it wears off.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
Being kicked shitless by the schools bully. I don't care if he outnumbered me or took me from behind; it was still humiliating.
I guess I kind of had a little payback when I slammed his face into a wall, though.
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
And you can't figure out that by yourself... I would like my mother alive, and me never leaving Amegakure. Happy?
38. What is your best memory?
Fuck off.
39. What is your worst memory?
Fuck off yet again.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Ahahahahaha - oh sorry, what was that? OPTIMISTIC, of course.
Yes, I was being ironic.
41. What is your greatest fear?
Being put in that prison to rot again. Seriously; I'm never doing that a second time.
42. What are your religious views?
Religion is for the people who can't handle life as it is.
43. What are your political views?
Never interested me.
44. What are your views on sex?
What are everyone's views on sex? I like it, I find it pleases me and I don't have anything against it.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
Killing comes very easy to me, and the only time I don't find it 'acceptable' is when the person in question is someone I care for. Did you miss the whole 'bloody revenge' and 'massmurderer'-thing?
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
To rob someone of their free will and own thoughts. To make someone their utter slave. That's just disgusting.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
I believe in the existence of attraction and people getting along. 'True love' suggests you can only take one person as your partner, and frankly, that just freaking naïve. *sharp laugh*
48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Acting as you please and keeping your promises.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
Why should I hide something as basic as that? That's like trying to pretend that my hair's not white or my eyes not red.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
How am I supposed to know something like that?
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
Breaking my earnestly given vows. As to why, my mother kicked my ass whenever I did. It's... important.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
My daughter.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
I find most of the humans surrounding me unimportant. They haven't done anything for me, so why should I do anything for them?
However, this is of course not the case with the ones that I have taken in under my protection. Isn't that freaking obvious?
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
Yet again, my daughter; she was the first creature in the world to treat me with absolute trust from the first time she saw me. I think you can figure out yourself why that made me somewhat... tied to her.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
My mother, but she's dead. My sensei, but he's dead too. So; Kino, I guess. Why? Because he can kill as many men as I can. Pretty simple, is it not?
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
Kino. You don't get many friends in a prison, and nobody else was bad enough to get to our prison-level.
He's eccentric, childish and mad - also, he smiles from ear to ear whenever I kill someone. It's an pleasent break from the usual reaction of screaming and crying and so on.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
I do; my wife, Sayako. Well, actually, I would've considered her my friend, but... Well, I only married her because I know she can't take care of herself and I have a feeling she doesn't really like me anymore after finding out about that whole killing-a-whole-clan business. She's this kind-hearted person, you see, who always thinks everything will work out if she just tries hard enough - including changing me into a 'better person'.
...it was nice that she even bothered to try.
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
A few times - mostly because someone caught my attention or was physically attractive. I can't say I remeber any details *shrugs*
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
Stamina. Most people tire so easily *sigh*
60. How close are you to your family?
My family is dead.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
Yes, in a way...
I did marry Sayako, and I did sleep with her - since she wanted me to. And then we got Kana, and I think we were happy, for a while - even if Sayako got scared of me and I went away alot and Kana cried a little.
Then I kind of found out where my family's killer was, and left the day my wife gave birth to my son.
One could say I understand if they are a little upset with me. *laughs strangely*
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
Kino, if I really couldn't handle it myself. I have the feeling he would get rid of most things bothering me.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
I trust myself to protect me.
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
Oh... Kino, I guess. At least he would kill a whole lot of people.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
I don't despise anyone anymore. Takes too much energy.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
The latter - and if they insist, I just cut them down. It's easier that way.
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Not intentionally, but most people just thinks I should and so I do.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
Nope. Too much a hassle.
69. Do you care what others think of you?
Not really, no.
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
Swordmanship.
71. What is your most treasured possession?
My sword. (Do you notice some kind of theme here?)
72. What is your favorite color?
Black.
73. What is your favorite food?
Apples, if you're so bloody interested.
74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
...I can't read.
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
Proving to someone that I really Am as good as rumour gives me credit to be.
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
I drink sake, but never really found anything interesting with the other two. As to why - it helps me relax.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Walking. And mind you, I hate walking.
78. What makes you laugh?
The constant irony of life~
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
Nothing I can think of.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
Frankly? Have sex with someone. What could be more effective?
81. How do you deal with stress?
Cut something, usually humans.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
The first alternative, I dare say - who wants to live their lifes after some kind of boring structure?
83. What are your pet peeves?
People deliberatly standing in my way.
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
Get up, walk, sneak into town, kill someone who wants to kill me, watch Kino kill someone who wants to kill him, find somewhere to eat and sleep, eat, sleep - get up and walk again.
I feel relived; it's not a very inspirating routine, don't you agree?
85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
My determination. If I want to do something, I do it.
86. What is your greatest weakness?
My habit of snapping all too easily. Makes things a lot harder ones I get ahold of myself again.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
See above, oh slow one.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Introverted, I would say.
89. Are you generally organized or messy?
It's irritating to find things when you don't keep them at the same place, but I guess I'm pretty messy when it comes to my appearance.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Swordmanship, killing and weaponry.
Socializing, showing affection, adjust to others.
Oh, the surprise!
91. Do you like yourself?
I neither like nor dislike myself. I am me, what else is there to bother myself with?
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
If you mean wandering around the world killing people; yes. I don't like to tell people about my family and that the reason I'm going around the globe in order to find them is because I promised to do so - that would put them in unncecessary danger. Better if people think I'm just an impulsive bastard.
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
Seeing Kana and explaining why I left.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Why should I try to see myself in something as unimportant as the future?
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
In battle, taking down the asshole who fixed me with me.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
I wouldn't do anything I don't already do; I know perfectly well I can die very easily, so I make sure to live - oh yes, here comes to dramatic part - without any regrets.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
I would like to be remebered for who I was, not what my reputation made me.
98. What three words best describe your personality?
*Erika jumps in* Best, awesome and awesome again? *angel*
*Yoku shrugs*
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
Scary, terrifying and insane?
100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)
"Yoku, for christs sake, just get that daughter-business out of the way and push Kino up against a wall, okay?"
Yoku: >__> What the hell, woman?
Bullshit.
