I'm born December 14, 1988 and I am an American actress and singer.
After working in local theater plays and television commercials in my childhood, I made me screen debut in the 2003 drama film Thirteen as Noel. Then next starred in the 2004 science-fiction-adventure film Thunderbirds.
I was born in Salinas, California, and I lived all over the West Coast – from Oregon to Southern California – with my parents, Gina (née Guangco), who held a succession of office jobs, and Gregory Hudgens, a firefighter, and younger sister Stella Hudgens who is also an actress. I and my family moved to Los Angeles after I won a role in a television commercial. I am of mixed cultural backgroundas my father is of Irish and Native American descent, and my mother, a native of Manila, is of Chinese-Filipino
Starting at the age of eight, I performed in musical theater as a singer, and appeared in local productions of Carousel, The Wizard of Oz, The King and I, The Music Man, and Cinderella, among others.Two years after my career in stage plays and musicals, I started auditioning for commercials and television shows.My acting career started at the age of 15, and I was not able to finish high school in Orange County High School of the Arts, after being home schooled by tutors.

![It’s so funny. Because before High School Musical, I wanted to be a nitty-gritty actress. And High School Musical came along, and, I was like, 'Oh my God, fun!' But the more we did it, the more prude I became..
When I am around kids and they come up to me, of course I am going to act a certain way, but at the end of the day, I’m doing this for myself. I’m going to be doing movies kids can’t watch. I get hot flashes! I can’t breathe, and I get claustrophobic. It’s a very odd business. I do it because I love acting, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to it.
I mean, maybe.. maybe house hunting for houses on our own. I mean.. which, I’m not. And he’s not, at the moment. So no. No. I just bought my house two years ago, and I adore it. I have this Moroccan-y room on the top floor. It’s the sexy cool room that I’ve always wanted.
I think that it has made me stronger. But it still hurts. It sucks because [the photos were] supposed to be private, but at the same time a lot of actresses do it [in movies]. Eventually, I’m sure that I will [too]. But I don’t know if I would be able to do it now.
