Setting The Countdown Timer. The countdown timer allows you to turn on a desired load for a predefined amount of time without interrupting or setting a new On/Off event. This feature is useful when chemicals are added to the pool or spa water, and the pump needs to circulate the chemicals for a minimum amount of time.
