During his 40 years of ministry in Holyrood Abbey, Edinburgh, James Philip produced expository notes covering the whole bible, and, long before daily bible reading notes were generally available, had them printed as such for the congregation and others to use in personal study. For many years hundreds of copies were sent out, monthly, all over the world, to those who had heard about them and were eager to study the Scriptures with their help.
These readings have now been digitised, so that a new generation of Christians can be encouraged and challenged by James Philip’s distilled expository wisdom.
