Steve Rogers, finding it easier to acclimate to the modern society as a soldier of SHIELD, learns that the organization has been compromised and a Soviet assassin known as The Winter Soldier will stop at nothing to kill Captain America, which leads him uncover a truth that will change everything.
For Steve Rogers, awakening after decades of suspended animation involves more than catching up on pop culture; it also means that this old school idealist must face a world of subtler threats and difficult moral complexities. That becomes clear when Director Nick Fury is killed by the mysterious assassin, the Winter Soldier, but not before warning Rogers that SHIELD has been subverted by its enemies. When Rogers acts on Fury's warning to trust no one there, he is branded as a traitor by the organization. Now a fugitive, Captain America must get to the bottom of this deadly mystery with the help of the Black Widow and his new friend, The Falcon. However, the battle will be costly for the Sentinel of Liberty, with Rogers finding enemies where he least expects them while learning that the Winter Soldier looks disturbingly familiar.
I'm getting fed up of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While The Avengers is amazing, many of the other Marvel films are just factory products and Marvel is failing to do anything bold. For example, in this movie they supposedly kill Nick Fury but then back out of it. However, I still like most of the films and this is an exceptional knockout blow and thus far, the best blockbuster of 2014. Captain America is finding adjusting to the modern world hard, and after being framed becomes a fugitive and tries to bring down a Shield conspiracy. What sets this apart from other Marvel films is that it's not just an action movie: It's a living, breathing narrative with characters we care about, a sense of tension and material to appeal to those who aren't fan boys. True, the film is in some ways just another Marvel movie and doesn't take a lot of risks, but the reveal of Shield being infiltrated half way through is genuinely shocking and the film is a dazzling mix of political thriller and superhero movie.
Chris Evans proves those who say Captain America is boring wrong, while Scarlett Johansson is strong as Black Widow. As usual, Samuel L Jackson is brilliant as Nick Fury and everyone else does a good job. The MCU has suffered from bad villains but this breaks that trend, with 2 awesome villains. The action sequences are totally astonishing and despite being full of huge explosions and massive crashes there is palm sweating tension maintained throughout. The screenplay is also great, and there is a sense of character development and emotion that aren't seen in most of the other Marvel films. While Iron Man 3, Thor The Dark World and Guardians Of The Galaxy were factory products to some extent, this actually does a few new things and best of all manages to be a great time even if its not your genre. Merging the comic book world with the real world and developing characters, pulling out the rug and blowing up everything is sight with great enthusiasm, Captain America The Winter Soldier is a brilliant, mind blowing and genuinely fascinating comic book slam dunk which hits with the force of Captain America's shield.

this second movie in the Captain America franchise was much better than the First Avenger,at least in my opinion.i thought it had more energy and better action.i also thought the uniform was much better,and I liked the villain more.once again the acting is good.Sam Jackson returns as Nick Fury.Scarlett Johansson is back as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, and Anthony Mackie is good as Sam Wilson/Falcon.i also really liked Cobie Smulders(the TV series How I Met Your Mother,and Avengers) as agent Maria Hill.overall,this was just a better film.but again this is just my opinion.for me,Captain America: The Winter Soldier is an 8/10.
In the first movie, an injection transformed wimpy Steve Rogers into strapping Captain America; similarly, this sequel gives the flagging comic-book movie an adrenaline shot of relevance. You've got to hand it to them.
Also, not to forget, whenever his body is damaged, or utterly destroyed, Arnim is able to send his personality to another one stored elsewhere, thus giving himself a form of immortality. So, there could be a possibility that in the future movies, we can encounter Zola in another form. Also, we see that there was a modern USB hub hooked up to Zola's interface. Natasha plugs in the USB stick to it and activates Zola. It's likely that another HYDRA agent, such as Baron Von Strucker had gone there previously and backed up Zola onto another drive. After Cap became a fugitive, Agent Sitwell establishes a Level 1 priority on him. The latter specifies that he wants every form of communication to be monitored in the hunt for Cap ("If someone tweets about this guy, I wanna know about it"). It's only common sense that they would also monitor and filter any contact with the rest of the Avengers, which is why Cap and Widow sought the help of a non-active Airman like Falcon instead. Another reason for this, as given by the directors is that the entire movie takes place in a span of over 3 days which is far too small a time-span for Cap to try to contact and assemble the avengers. After the movie is over, however, he does contact the Avengers for help, since at the beginning of Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Avengers are finishing up a long campaign to defeat Hydra. a5c7b9f00b
