Sho Fukamachi, a normal teenager accidentally found an alien object called Unit and thus, changed his life forever. The Unit bonded with Sho, resulting a powerful fighting life form called Guyver.
Well folks, this is definitely what fans of Guyver deserve, greatness. Right from the opening credits to the preview for the next episode this show will please both fans of the original manga to newcomers alike.
WARNING: Possible SPOILERS : WARNING
The show follows high school student Sho and his friend Tetsuro as they continue to discover new things about the Guyver unit and try to evade capture and death from the Cronus cooperation. The Guyver unit is activated when Tetsuro and Sho discover the undamaged G-unit that was stolen from Chronos by a test Zananoid ( the monsters of the series ). The unit is activated by Sho when Tetsuro inspects the unit. The G-unit bonded with Sho when Tetsuro panics as the unit starts up and accidental throws it to Sho. :END SPOILERS: The show is very dark and violent as it should be. I can't wait until it comes out here in the states with hopes that Adult swim picks it up. 10 out of 10
I have been a long time fan of the Guyver series and was thoroughly disappointed when they did not finish the series. Now they are attempting to finish this series and I am more than happy. This Guyver is dark, full of intrigue and there are differences in the story line, such as Guyver didn't fight Guyver II in the first few episodes and kills him. Its just so different and so totally cool. I recommend any Guyver fan to watch this. You won't be disappointed. But I must admit, I much like the original opening song in contrast to this one, buy hey small price to pay for the series to finally be completed. I guarantee you won't be disappointed with the new version.
