The bar end shifter on my Expedition for the rear cluster is extremely hard to push forward to change to a higher gear. It's a 2012 about 4 months old, but has been stiff/hard to push forward from the beginning. Being new to bar ends I'm not really sure how hard the shift should be. It is indexed just right;

4 Mar 2011 Most likely, not. If you look at the manual for these shifters, you'll see that, unlike Shimano and Campy, the SRAM bar ends don't mount on a duplicate DT braze-on. They rely on a mounting screw coming in from the back of the shifter. www.sram.com/_media/techdocs/95-7015-001-000.pdf

Right, on my SRAM R2C shifters, with the shifters installed in the bars, you have to unbolt/remove the shifting mechanism (the cable does not have to be removed), and there is a bolt in the User manual: www.sram.com/. Unlike One and Done, I never twist the lever to get it into the final position.
