This was clearly a foreign production but has all English speaking actors. The plot is simply a rescue mission is formed to save a pair of explorers who went missing while locating a hidden tomb in China. We have a bit of a modern Indiana Jones feel. While the subject matter risks being campy, it successfully maintains its tone and succeeds in being an entertaining little creature flick. So, this is how burnt money smells like. what were the financiers & executive producers of this garbage thinking? The acting made my skin craw. The plot was stupid and patronizing - especially to Chinese audiences. What makes the Chinese investors think Chinese audiences want to see Chinese men play inferior roles to a white man in China? Who are the idiots burning their money to fund this trash?
