To drift slightly off from the Stobe Harju directed music videos I have decided to look at the video that made me discover one of my favourite games and in turn my favourite gaming company. So logically I should love this. Kind of. This is basically a re-creation of some portions of Alan Wake and to be fair they do it with a kickass song but with all my bias aside, they don't do anything with it aside from "It's from Alan Wake, just have the whole video look like it in some way or another" and again, they do a good job but I think there are better ways this could have gone. Without playing the games you wouldn't know the significance of Barbra Jagger or The Taken (which don't look anything like they do in the game, I guess that's because it's an Easter Egg to point out other members of the band). So while I love the song and while I do harp on how much more they could have done with it (I guess after reviewing Stobe Harju stuff it just gets to me) this is a good video filled with great cinematography and other things that do elevate it. So while it isn't bad, they really should have done more with it.
