Waiting for the inevidable is like
waiting for the sun to go down
the colors to fade
the feelings to raid,
and pillage that which we call home.
The feeling of worrying,
that the sun won't ever shine
quite as brightly as it did with him.
And so you ran and hid,
because there's nothing you can do,
you never really thought this through;
and now it's too late,
because his fate is set in stone.
