You take on the role of Lieutenant James Patterson, the star of the 'Medal of Honor' series. As Patterson, you are the Allied force's most reliable military special agent. From storming the front lines of Normandy Beach as an infantryman to becoming an elite intel officer, Patterson goes through it all in this game. He will: Storm Normandy, take down a U-boat factory, liberate oppressed citizens from abusive Nazi soldiers, capture the Nimegjan Bridge, track notorious Nazi leader Randolph Stermgiest, and much more. Patterson participates in both solo missions and wartime sequences in order to fulfill the destruction of the Nazi war machine.
This games d-day mission was so unrealistic that it wasn't even funny. You run around the small beach giving cover fire to your fellow soldiers. If it was the real thing you probably would've been dead before you even took 5 steps on to the beach.There should have been some tactics involved. Also you get like 5 guys in the invasion and you are forced to run across a minefield just like that. In other missions you have to fight about a whole German army by yourself. Even when you do get men the do nothing but stand around or fire some awfuly aimed shots at the Germans. I like the medal of honor series but this one was a major disappointment.
Being an Immigrant and knowing members of my family being involved in World War II it's something truly special when I get to re-live the events that changed the face of the war. Medal of Honor: Frontline is such an experience from the beginning when you're fighting in Normandy to the real world locations within France, Holland among others. You need to play this game not only because it's fun action but because it's also education and you'll learn stuff about WWII (which you may or may not have already known). The Medal of Honor Series is one of the best First-Person Shooting games around...you need to play it
