Would I need like a new case? or a different motherboard? or different power supply? what would I need, and which one

Sep 12, 2013 So you bought an Alienware X51 off the back of our 10/10 review and now you're ready to upgrade it? Is there any motherboard in existence, that would fit inside the X51 R1 without modification? Can we order the R3 motherboard direct? Do any 3rd party
I regrettably purchased an Alienware X51 R2 from Dell for over $1000 last year. @op what is your budget? you could really get any new case you want, upgrade the mobo if you want, its not really needed though if you stay itx or matx. for the gpu you could get what ever fits, but you may need a new psu.
