Walt suspects a chain robbery when a late veterans husband is shot during a break in and a warehouse full of pharmaceuticals is robbed. The sheriffs department is scouting for new recruits.
Normally I would rate this show an 8 or 9 but as a vet this episode really upset me. I use the VA and it is not underfunded and my personal experiences with VA caregivers is not even close to what was portrayed here. The one thing I could relate to is the long waits and frustration of the vets shown briefly in a scene. The episode bothered me because it felt like a positive spin on the VA rather than reflective of what vets face dealing with this bloated, uncaring bureaucracy. The problem isn't that vets refuse to acknowledge ptsd and refuse treatment but rather the VA makes us wait months if not years to get treatment, then to add insult the episode shows a vet selling meds to make some cash. Really offended by what the writers put out here.
