Adding a 2nd battery to your cars existing electrical system is quite simple. If you have one of the two relays mentioned follow the four steps below. I recommend the Stinger Red or Yellow top batteries.

This is a typical mechanical relay that is used for battery isolation and this model is able to handle 200 amps and will isolate two batteries. This particular model is the Stinger SR200 or SGP32.
