2 Aug 2012 I have a quest "smoke" and a optic xr sight that I'm having trouble with. 1) my pins seem to topped out- my first pin is almost to the top of the sight And 2) my floating pin- when trying to sight in my 50 yd pin,my doesn't go as high as I need it to b for 50. Is my knocking point off or what is going on??? Any help

1 Jan 2018 I have the have G5 Optix with the floating 4th pin on my Hoyt. It's not big differences, it just means you have to manually sight in all your distances. I ended up selling mine when I bought a new bow and went with a different sight that I am extremely happy with but the G5 XR did have its advantages

2 Jun 2008 I was wondering if anyone has sighted in a G5 optix ME sight or any of their sights with the floating pin? If so can you please give me detailed instructions on how you did this. I have heard you need to set in your floating pin first but I have also heard just set it up like a normal sight. Please help.
14 Feb 2012 I have a couple G5 Optix ME's which are the same as the XR but without a label on the dial (and they use a smaller dial). Not sure what 308 means by line up the floater with the fixed pins but I've never had any issues with mine. I use .019 pins in them. I did replace some fibers in them, the factory G5 fibers
