Tamil Movie Dubbed In Hindi Free Download The Siege Of Jadotville

In 1961, the UN sends an Irish peacekeeper troop commanded by Commandant Pat Quilan to Katanga, in Congo, to protect the inhabitants of the mining town of Jadotville in the beginning of a civil war. Meanwhile the UN advisor Dr. Conor Cruise O'Brien launches a military attack named Operation Morthor against the French and Belgian mercenaries. Soon there is a reprisal from the mercenaries and Quilana and his men are left under the siege of a huge Katangese and mercenary troops. Will the Irish soldiers resist to the attack?

This is probably one of the best reenactments of a military engagement I have ever seen. In terms of its quality as an account of military heroism I'd put it up there with Zulu. Its certainly better than any American film I have ever seen, with the possible exception of Blackhawk Down.
It is quietly respectful. It is a mature, intelligent adult retelling of a siege in Africa, the Congo, Katangha that few even in my generation (60+) have ever hard of. It is Irish to its cote and Irish make some very high quality movies.
IMHO it knocks the socks off such as 'Generation Kill', and '12 Strong'. I'd rather watch the Siege of Jadotville anyday to such as those. Thanks to Director: Richie Smyth, Producer: Alan Moloney, Screenplay: Kevin Brodbin, Story by: Declan Power for bringing the story to us. You have done a long overdue honour to those brave men of the Irish UN force.

The movie is not yet even over that I had to write a review for it. And I have to say that it was really disappointing. Now you have three ways of looking at it. Either you're Irish (or Anglo-Saxon) and you will love it, or you're French and you will hate it. The third option is you are neither but you will certainly see the flaws without being biased like the other two categories. To put it simply, this movie is NOT REALISTIC at all. I understand that it aims to honor those Irish soldiers, and God knows they deserve it. They were outnumbered and they fought well, not one dead. But the way it is depicted in the movie can only make you cringe. I mean, SPOILER ALERT, the scene where the attackers shoot dozens of mortar shells and they don't hit anything? However, the Irish shoot just one and somehow it hits the exact spot were the attackers' mortar was...Are you kidding me? Or when the Irish officer manages somehow to hit a jet with a heavy sub-machine gun at a 90 degrees angle? Thank God the producers decided not to make it so that the plane crashed, otherwise it would have been too much (that's a huge sarcasm if you have not noticed yet). You can add the number of shots in the movie and compare it to the number of victims and you can clearly tell that somehow, the Irish are all snipers, and the attackers are star wars storm troopers. Any decent movie about a stand off like that would have a scenario where most of the defenders would actually be shot during a heroic battle, and then surrender... Anyway, there are simply too many things that do not make sense at all and, if it were science-fiction, nobody would care. But if you"re going to make a movie based on fact, then base it on facts. You can adapt a bit to make it more enjoyable to watch but there is a limit. I'm still giving it a 7, out of respect for those Irish men (I'm actually French and I will always hold the Irish nation highly), and because I want to encourage war movies (I'm a military history buff). But aside from that, the movie itself does not deserve such praise because it is clearly propaganda, a pat in the back to make one feel good about himself/herself.
