28 Mar 2017 Threading. The thread is in the bottom of the handle on a spool. Gently pull to unwind enough thread to complete your project plus about 3" extra. Wrap the thread around the tack on the handle one time. Choose a needle and insert it into the threaded post. Replace the chuck lock and screw it down to secure.

This is a This kit includes the Speedy Stitcher Sewing Awl, a bobbin wound with 14-yards of waxed course thread, 4 - needles 2 straight and 2 curved, a 180-yard tube of additional waxed coarse thread and use instructions.
To set up: Unscrew chuck lock to find needles. Pull end of thread from bobbin through hole in handle. Loop thread around tension post. Continue thread along handle groove and through ferrule hole. Place needle in threaded post making sure that grooves in needle and threaded post are in alignment with each other.
