Members of an elite DEA task force find themselves being taken down one by one after they rob a drug cartel safe house.
A DEA special ops unit becomes involved in a large scale bust involving tens of millions of dollars. The bust becomes interesting when the group decides to take 10 million dollars for their own use. Things go sour when the money which was hidden turns out to be missing. The group eventually recovers from an internal investigation with another chance to salvage their reputation. But which organized drug group would forget about 10 million dollars? The bigger mystery is where did that money go?
How far Arnold Schwarzenegger has fallen. The script of this movie was written by a 12 year old. No wait, I don't want to offend 12 years old, this script was written by chimpanzees, wait no, I don't want to offend chimpanzees. This script was made by one celled amoebas...This has to be one of the lazest scripts I have ever heard. Were the screen writers going for the genius book of world record for the most curse words in a single movie? Even my husband who curses regularly thought it was too much. We stopped watching after fifteen minutes in, it was just ridiculous. There was absolutely no dialog, just f! That, mother f! That. You could not even tell what the story was about. As I was watching the movie, I said those gangsters sure are cussing a lot, my husband said they aren't gangsters they are the cops. Well I be. Cursing and shooting for what ever reason that sums up this poor excuse for a movie.
This is a perfect production of this genre. Arnold as the hero anti-hero, the hidden agendas of the alcohol and tobacco industry, probably the CIA funding it too. Then the message to Mexico that we will hold all of you accountable. The propaganda is great. The definition of the professional psychopathic administrators of the DEA and the Cluster B Personality Disordered red headed female Judas killing those that trust her is misogynist and racist against the Irish. With the drug war ending I was surprised that someone is trying to resurrect it with propaganda. Of course, the low functioning cops think that is some type of celebration against evil. The one correct thing in this documentary is that revenge begets violence and death. It's perfect Hollywood.
Sabotage’s mystery component is mostly dead on arrival, and poor Olivia Williams has the thankless job of carrying it as the no-nonsense detective searching for the killer. But as Ayer proved with his previous film, End Of Watch, he has a natural eye and ear for the ecosystem of law enforcement.
