I do believe that if you just smash the provided vxworks killer.bin file onto the router, it will end up with a generic mac address, but it will work. Worst case you have to TFTP flash the unit again, which you have to do to get DDWRT on there after running the killer .bin anyway. The .exe injects a mac address
